I use the McDonalds app everyday. Theres been times I go back to the app and my order from the previous day is still there waiting for me to get in the drive-thru. And I have had some orders process incorrectly in those situations.
I remove the items from the cart and redo the new order. I wish there was a reset cart button or someway to tell the app that the previous order was finished.

Closing the app several times and reopening doesnt clear the cart or help it realize that was yesterdays order. Right now I have this mornings order stuck in my cart and it thinks the order hasnt delivered to me yet.

You don't even need to tell them because it'll pop up on their screen after you scan, though communication is still nice. After 40 minutes of arguing with them they finally figure out that the order switched to the location that I had driven by on my way to pick up my order with them.
