The clock radio also had an Iphone charger, very nice as I had forgotten my plugin charger. Nice sized bathroom with all the usual toiletries and hairdryer. Convenient hooks and bins for all my ski gear. From my room it was just a short walk to the parking lot, ski lift, and the on-site restaurant and bar. I ate lunch and dinner at the Pottery Restaurant on-site, as I have found the food there is better than places in the Village, and both meals were excellent.
I also had a treatment at the on-site spa which I was able to book last-minute, very nice.

Since checkout was 11 am I was even able to get some skiing in when the weather cleared the next morning! All the staff I dealt with, at hotel, restaurant, and spa, were efficient and hospitable.
My only complaint, as other reviewers have mentioned, was the lack of free wireless in the rooms, it is available in the lobby. This is outdated thinking, especially for an organization that relies so heavily on internet technology and has such a comprehensive website.
There is an indoor pool, which I didn't use, but I would consider this Inn best suited for adults looking for a decent room while skiing-families would probably be happier staying in the Village where shopping and dining options are plentiful. The Inn rooms are very comfortable, thank you for detailing the many attributes in your review. The spa will also be very pleased to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your services with them and their attentive staff members. You are right, the subject of wifi does come up frequently, however we are not unlike many downtown hotels where guest room internet comes at a fee.
The quality of the guest room wifi is superior to the light wifi available complimentary in common areas. I went on the dec 27, weekend. It is a great hotel at a great price. The mountains are right on the back of this hotel. You can save few hundred dollars for just walking one 1 block to the village. Other hotels IN the village charge a lot more just to be there. The bar is great, full house always and affordable drinks with nice respectful people.
Rooms are nice and very clean. Outdoor hot tubs are awesome and are open until 11PM. Dear juanky9, Thank you for this glowing review of the Blue Mountain Inn, it is a perfect location situated at the base of the ski hills and with 2 restaurants right on site, you really have all you need under one roof. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs are another great feature and a wonderful way to unwind and soothe sore muscles after a day on the slopes.
The foyer is nice but there are no seats if you have to wait, but staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a bit of a let down and are not particularly fancy or spacious.
They are done in "mock" wood to go with the mountain theme. With the daily charge, only 3 electronic devices can be connected. This would likely be to prevent someone from another room using the WIFI code, but made it awkward for a family of 4, with 4 phones and a laptop.
I think the hotel should reconsider this policy and get with the times. The Inn's location is great and only 2 blocks from the "village". There isn't much to see or do if you are not on the slopes.
Overall, it is very artificial, trying really hard to evoke a ski village in Switzerland, but succeeding in being more of a Disney-like replica. It is clean and neat though and although small, is pedestrian-only, which was really nice. The Inn while being the perfect walking distance also provides a free shuttle to drive you to and from, which is useful if you are bringing your own ski or snowboard equipment, or simply want a lift home after having too much to drink with dinner.
The indoor pool was nice but small. There are 4 whirlpools outside, which was pretty and romantic. I recommend buying beverages in nearby Collingwood to stock in the bar fridge, and a plastic glass to have on hand it you want to enjoy a sip while sitting in the hot tub under the stars.
Downtown Collingwood is quite nice and worth a visit for some of its shops and restaurants. The Inn guest rooms were fully refurbished just over a year ago, and on a quick look back at past reviews, the results have been garnering pretty favorable feedback, what a shame they did not wow you in the same way.
We offer complimentary Wifi in common areas such as our hotel lobbies as well as the restaurants in the Inn. The complimentary service has a small bandwidth adequate for viewing e-mail and surfing the internet. The service provided in our guest rooms for a fee provides a much greater bandwidth adequate for viewing e-mail, surfing the internet and downloading media. There are a number of neighboring towns, all of which are worth exploring. I stayed at Blue Mountain Inn for a conference and inadvertently left some clothing in my room.
The housekeeping staff quickly retrieved and items and shipped them to me. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful and I appreciated this attention to detail.
