Called down to desk sent maint. He said it was a button stuck. Still very cool in room. Closed door to the bathroom area to at least get that area warm. Called back down to desk.

One of the gentlemen said did I know how cold it was outside. Ok I did no and that was and is not the issue. I am not cold in my own house. They offered to bring us a portable heater. So they put that in the bedroom. We still have to keep the bathroom door closed. To keep that area warm. Never had this problem before. How many times has any one had to have a portable heater in a room to keep warm? To me this was crazy. Never once got a follow up call on this.
The other issue is the buffet was cold. The food was good but if it was hot it would have been great. The friday night buffet had good flavor to the food. Breakfast all three days was cold. I had to wait for french toast one time. When they put it on the warmers it was already cold.
So not sure if the problem is in the warmers or if the kitchen is just letting the food sit out without being in a warmer. Strip night on saturday was great good taste and hot. Rooms were cleaned properly just forgot to leave kleenex twice had to ask for them the second day. Service in the dinning area was good.

After this time going I was somewhat dissapointed with cove haven. It felt as if once you checked in you are on your own. The first day was just not why I or my wife expect from Cove Haven. My boyfriend and I went to Cove Haven this past weekend for a weekend getaway. We stayed in the Garden of Eden apple room. I can see why some people say it's outdated but it's really not that bad. We had a brand new "blush" bed in our room that was to die for.
It was so comfortable. We had pool and sauna in our room. The only complaint was that the sauna didn't get too hot and the heart shaped tub seamed to leak water We expected to stay in the room all weekend but upon arriving found out how many activities they had. Friday night we enjoyed the band and comedian at the night club.
Saturday morning we had breakfast in bed. It's nothing to write home about just a sandwich but still nice to have it delivered to your door. Then we went snow mobiling. Wish the track was a bit longer.
Then we went to see the XXX newlywed game. Honest Phil is so funny and definetly makes your stay at the resort memorable! The 5 course dinner on Sat night was great. I was stuffed by time the steak came out that I could barely eat anymore. We are definetly going back again. Have been discussing sspending out summer vacation there so we can try out the lake and all. I would highly recommend the place to couples wanting to get away!
