Don't get me wrong, I think the cleaning crew did a great job and I know their job is tough, but I would just like to point out a couple of things that could be better: Great hot breakfast! Bacon, eggs, waffles, breads fruits cereals. Comfortable and spacious suites. Minor fixes needed in bathroom. Toilet ran and small spots of mold above shower as well as small area of wallpaper above shower needing gluing. Very pleased with this Comfort Suite. This one changed my mind after having a poor experience with one in San Diego.
I will be back checking in now that not Comfort Inns are alike. Very good value, and easy to get to. Breakfast was great too, alot of great choices of foods.
Most everything. The staff was great! The facilities clean and comfortable. Enough stations on the TV. Only complaint was the fitness facility could have been in a little better shape other wise no real complaints. Close to Six Flags, conveniently located to shopping centers and restaurants. One road takes you directly to Six Flags.

It's what we call, perfect! Surrounded by the beautiful Santa Susana Mountain Range and Simi Hills, our area is sought after equally by business and travelers. We must admit, one of Simi's major attractions is just 0. Of historic interest, Simi Valley was given its name from the early Chumash Indian word, Shimiyi, which creates a smile when pronounced. And, by coincidence, a study done by the University of Vermont ranked Simi Valley as the fifth-happiest city in the United States. We welcome you warmly. This one-of-a-kind beautiful property offers deluxe amenities with boutique service.
Guests will feel right at home in one of deluxe rooms or suites with Wi-Fi, mini refrigerators and microwaves. The location was close to many things, food wasn't in shortage near the hotel! It was a quite, very good stay for the price. Also there was a couple of surprise guests, 2 crickets that came in through a missed hole from the caulking. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms and infrastructure are in desperate need of updating. Horribly ugly patched up bathtub, Counter torn out of room replaced with closet, but in a very depressing way.
It was sad to spend so much money on such bare minimum surroundings. I particularly like the pillows. I don't know where the hotel industry gets them, but I'm on a search for my own bed! The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding! There are no elevators. We were fine but if you have any challenges with stairs request a first floor room.
Lock on my door wouldn't work therefore I was unavle to get into my room 3 times until they were able to solve the issue. Communication and resolution was very poor.
The staff was professional and courteous. The price matched our expectations. It felt like a hotel on the decline. It felt like its peak was in , and has since been in need of a large renovation. Wonderful breakfast, close to freeway and shopping, friendly staff. This was a nice hotel. Friendly staff and easy check in. Excellent breakfast. Spacious room and comfortable beds. Breakfast was beyond what was expected. The pool and outdoor space was very attractive. The layout of the hotel was very nice.

Relieve stress in the resort-style pool and whirlpool. Come enjoy the sunny skies here in Simi Valley today. It is the worst hotel experience I ever had. We were upgraded to a room that had an outside entrance but was secured through the lobby entrance since we were Holiday Inn frequent users. Busy weekend and cleaning staff was behind; the interior rooms were not ready by 4p. Property needs more renovation and surprised that Holiday Inn would take over the buildings. Very nice hotel, well situated with easy access.
The staff is very welcoming and the rooms are very clean. Grand Vista Hotel. Planning an event in Simi Valley? This hotel has facilities measuring square feet square meters , including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite. The beds of the hotel were nice and the bathroom had a very nice tub and shower. Those were the only highlights on this stay. The wifi in our room did not work at all and they said it was because we were in a part of the hotel where the signal was weak.
They told me to hook the ethernet cable to my laptop and even that didn't work. It took 3 calls down to the front desk to get someone to finally fix the ethernet cable. The first night we came in, there must have been an event or a load of people at the restaurant in the hotel because we could not find a parking space anywhere remotely close to the entrance of the hotel.
By the next morning half those cars were gone so I knew they weren't guests. The walls of the hotel were also sort of thin and I could hear someone next door talking loudly on their phone. Overall it was not a pleasant experience and I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. The location is nice, close to shopping and coffee. Pool and hot tub area is nice and clean. Rooms were not very clean, old, tub stained, shower curtain moldy, fridge was off when arrived and once on it froze our drinks, hard to get in and out of with baby things.
The public spaces, the rooms. The bathrooms, the pool area, the fitness center are all outdated and need serious updating. The WiFi is inconsistent. The bathroom felt dingy and dark. I would never stay again. Excellent value. Great amenities: Water pressure was very low, making it difficult to shower. I understand conservation but I would prefer to make that a conscious decision rather than be forced by the plumbing. Tv sound was set so that we could not adjust volume and when air conditoner was running could not hear TV. Was told BT t the desk this c was done by cable company.
That made no sense. After enough complaining they took that charge off. Other places offer free bottles of water - this place charged 2. The room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it said it was a no smoking room. Santa Clarita Motel.
Featured amenities include express check-out, a hour front desk, and laundry facilities. I got there at check in time and still had to wait 30 minutes for the room. Really good place! Clean, nice renovated rook and affordable! The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The mini fridge and microwave were clean and new. The bathroom was updated. The bed and pillows were very comfy, the wifi worked well, and the TV was nice. For the price and location, we were extremely satisfied with our stay. Great value for your money. After reading so review I was like oh crap why did I book here.
But that was not the case at all! It was clean and not noisy at all! Like some peoples reviews. When we go back to 6 flags we will definitely stay here again. You can't beat the price. I don't really have anything negative to say. The only thing is it's like a mile or 2 away from stores and gas stations.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how big the rooms were. Everything was clean. Great location. The staff was so unfriendly. I went down to the lobby to ask for an extra towel and got asked "why? Sorry that I don't like having people come in my room when I have tons of stuff in there? Very rude staff. Not too keen about the location. I was searching for a place to stay at Valencia right off of Hwy 5 and didn't know why they directed me to Santa Clarita.
The motel was clean and think for the price, it is a great deal. I would book a stay again.
Wireless high speed Internet access and 40 inch high definition flat screen televisions. Indoor corridor, pool and spa, friendly staff, 9 miles from Six Flags-Magic Mountain. Complimentary Continental Breakfast. Guests must be 21 years or older to register and check-in. The night staff was great. They made checking in really easy.
It's about 20 mins away from Six flags and the price was great. The restaurant across the street is amazing. Pricey but excellent.
The staff at the hotel were polite and helpful, and the maid service was good. The hotel decor looks like it was stolen from The room itself looked okay, but the bed was hard and the sheets were some cheap synthetic blend that was very uncomfortable. The continental breakfast is minuscule and though served from 6am-9am it was picked clean by 8am. The vending machine just below my room, thanks stole my money. They left the smoke alarm on the floor I might not be as upset if they did something to make it right.
All they did was apologize. Words are cheap. Great price, clean, family friendly. Close to stores and restaurants. I had my 3 boys and husband with me and they were great! Didn't bother us. Though we didn't break any rules. The jacuzzi was awesome after a long trip! We thought 9 am was a little early to end breakfast. Also the tub was very slippery. I almost fell. The shower was like an 80 year old woman drooling maple syrup on your back, the smell was that of fermaldihyde and cabbage and you had to pay an extra 15 bucks a day just to request non smoking, when really you were just trading in a smoky smell for that of something slightly less pungent.
Pillows were not fluffy and front desk staff was not that friendly.
Featured amenities include a hour front desk and multilingual staff. Dippy tub fixture. Not good when the state has water issues. I didn't like how there wasn't a double lock and a piece of chewed gum in our bed. I was too tired to even discuss this with the front desk. I just wanted out of there the next morning. The room was clean, and decorated nicely. Totally worth every dollar, definately going back. Best Western Valencia Inn. Outdoor enthusiasts will be only minutes from beaches, fishing and golfing.
This resort style hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, and free parking with ample room for buses and trucks. Pets are welcome for a small fee. For superior customer service and a convenient location, make a reservation at the Best Western Valencia Inn! Enjoy your stay. Hotel staff was great but didn't receive my morning wake up call and bathroom had no towels. The check in was fast, we asked for a bottom floor room and we got it with a parking right in front of our room.
Also, breakfast was awesome!!! Everything tasted beautifully and for the price that we got it for, was amazing. The stafff was friendly and were satisfied with our one day stay. We will surely be coming again. Be aware there is traffic noise. Travel with earplugs. Bed was comfortable although the non-smoking room smelled of smoke.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It is near restaurants and shopping. My family had a nice stay. Very close to Magic Mountain. Also had a nice breakfast. Facility undergoing maintenance and water was all over the hall. WIFI didn't work. Staff not very friendly. Everything was great except for the hot water in the shower, it was not very warm. Quiet-didn't hear other people or the freeway. Heated pool and lounge chairs Vaulted ceiling on second floor Good breakfast including waffles, juices, cereal, fruit, and pastries Very nice staff Clean room with comfortable linens.

Pet fee USD Very clean and organized staff is really courteous and friendly Very reasonable prices also. Nice friendly staff, clean hotel. Great value compared with other hotels nearby. Breakfast was more than adequate, coffee, tea, orange juice, milk, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, fresh fruit, toast, eggo waffles, yogurt, and pastries! Pool and spa were very nice. Fridge and microwave in room. Bed was a little too firm for me but my husband loved it. Only complaint was the toilet seat was painted over, by hand, not really a high price item to replace, lol.
Would stay here again. Under construction which was not disclosed beforehand. Pool was dirty had leaves and an outdoor chair in it. Rooms have very thin walls. There was no parking. The cleanliness of the hotel is horrible. There were hairs in the tub and hairs in the towels.
They had cleaned the room with an old mop that hadn't been rinsed which left the room smelling awful. I came back to the hotel late and with only a one night stay and an early departure, it wasn't worth moving rooms. There are some sketchy elements around the place, homeless walking out of the hills behind the place in the morning, a bit of loitering in the parking lot. While it is a Super 8 and provides a room with a roof, it also seems to be a last refuge for those who have been run out of the valley. It did what it needed to but I won't stay here again. The parking lot was not good.
People taking up 3 parking spots so you can't find a place to park. Featured amenities include a hour front desk, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Accommodations Motel.
