The dealer was very courteous and helpful. However, he was not knowledgeable about the car about its operation. Positive thing is that the price was fixed and non-negotiable. I got there and the office was busy and I understood so me and my family were attended and seated. Then I was told that the guy who was going to help me had to leave for an emergency so someone else took over.

He seemed really flustered and not crazy happy about now having to help us. No one could come help us so we were left standing there only being able to inspect the car. The salesman seemed more frustrated at this point and so was I. I went very excited and left really bummed.

The certified used car had gone through the dealers inspection program, however there were several items that probably should have been caught and fixed that were not fixed Dealer said they will schedule someone to fix the tear in the leather seats but refered me to go see the Porsche dealer to get other items taken care of under the warranty. Very nice facility. German Motors go the extra mile in customer satisfaction. Vincent Chiaro Great shop, honest service, will only tell you to do the things that need to be done. Detailed photos of problem areas with the car so that you know they're not making stuff up. Super convenient and know their stuff! Better than the local Audi dealership! I've had issues with some repair shops on my older BMW but these guys are amazing. Super professional and knowledgable and really seem to have the customer in mind. I live in Los Altos but actually got a referral from a friend of brother who lives on the east coast so these guys have quite a good reputation.

And it is well earned. They even discouraged me from doing some repairs on my vehicle when I revealed that I might not be keeping it much longer. Never known a repair shop that would do that! I found this place through a shop that closed a while ago. I did some research and German Motor Specialist had great recommendations so I decided to leave my car with them.

Jason was my advisor and he took care of my car. He helped me plan out and prioritize the most important issues first. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail. Then, last week the engine just died by itself while we were lining up in the gas station. Because of this, unfortunately, we had to miss our good friend's wedding. It took one week for them to service the car. They said "the root cause" is the ignition coil and spark plug.

They replaced them and the service advisor said that the car is in the tiptop shape now. Because, today, the car just lost its power again while I was driving around 20MPH. Thankfully, there was no car around and I managed to cruise the car to the side of the road. So, I had to get this car towed again for the second time in a week. What if this happens while I am driving on the highway?

This could have been much worse. I thought getting this car will get me a safe experience for my family especially my 7-month old daughter. In general, I am very disappointed with all the experience that I went through. Salesman promised me that this car will run great. The service advisor said the car is fixed and everything is in great shape. But, what I got is totally the opposite. They just want your money. Now, I have no confident with the car anymore and am always have the traumatic feeling while driving this car. At this point, I really just want to get rid of the car.
