I called Amazon a month ago to see if this was an error in pricing, but they said that it wasn't. They were so strongly scented that I couldn't breathe, and the scent permeated all 2, square feet of our home. I could even smell them outside and in the garage. The cats would not use the litter box that I put a pad in. I sent them back, and got a refund, but still had the dilemma of overpriced litter pads. I have been alternating the three brands for the last 6 weeks. They all three work the same, same absorbency and same odor control.
The plastic edge takes care of the possibility of any leakage, but it's annoying that it doesn't fit perfectly.
The EZ pads fit perfectly, and are every bit as good as the Breeze pads. Just to let you know, I have two one-year-old male kitties and two Breeze litter boxes. I change the pads twice a week because I am OCD. Once I forgot, and left them for a week. They were heavy and full, but there was no leakage.
When I order again, I will, probably, go with the EZ pads because of the perfect fit and because the quality is equal. As you can see in the photo, the size of the diamonds is different, but they all are equal in thickness, they all absorb equally, and they all have good odor control. I was pleasantly surprised. Originally I thought I'd just but the generic versions of these, but after reading the reviews, it sounds like the off brands just don't have the same odor absorption as the breeze pads.

That said, I still want to save money, and the cheapest cost per pad is to buy them in bulk like this. I use pine pellets instead of the little plastic ones that came with the breeze box. The pine absorbs 90 percent of the urine and all of the smell , so I don't have to change the pads that often. With three cats, each pad lasts Between the pine and the pads, there's no urine smell at all. Long review. Nothing can hide the smell of fresh, solid cat mess, but we don't trust them with lighting candles yet Its too bad that the pads are rather expensive, since we go through a lot of them.
