The view is of the water but the walk way to get to the rooms runs in front of the window so if you think you're going to sit on a balcony and enjoy the view you're wrong! There is area with a picnic table and grill down by the water as well. There isn't anything within walking distance unless you are looking for a bar.
When I walked in the check in there was a drunk at the desk he asked me where his pizza was, I'm not the delivery guy sorry buddy. So Pam checked me into my room and I tried ignoring the guy. I went to get my things and children out of the car the man proceeded to follow me he sat on a bench outside and smoked. He tried helping me in. At this point I'm just thinking he's a drunk and being friendly. I told him I didn't need help.
So then I go to my room drunk guy is down the hall from me in His friend is in the room right beside me. So now he knows where my room is and that my husband isn't on this trip with me. He proceeds to harass me because they stood out on the walkway and smoked for forever and I had to make a few trips. The hotel was full of construction type workers he was one of them I ended up having to change rooms it was a hassle. So before checking in without your husbands find out if it's full of construction workers the things this guy said, in front of my children aren't something I'm going to repeat.
Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was so clean! Breakfast was great. Something that everybody liked. Eating area was very clean. The was nothing that we didn't like, except the fact that we had to leave. We will definitely be back. Non smoking room smelled like cigars when I walked in the first time.
I liked the room, staff, location and price. It was easy to get to and convenient to everything. Belfair Motel. There was a really sweet dog there that one of the front desk people had with them. It was super friendly, and she the human was super friendly as well. Also, the guy who was there at my checkout was nice. Trees behind the place were very green. Though the bed wasn't horrible, it was actually decent to sleep on, pillows were all right, and the sheets were clean. There was also a refrigerator and a microwave in the room, though as I did not use them, I cannot tell you if they did indeed work.
Driveway and parking isn't great.
Paid for a nonsmoking, room still smelt like an ashtray. It totally fell out of a horror movie, and really did seem like the kind of place where you go and get murdered in the middle of the night by some crazy mountain people, or the unhinged guy staying down the way. TVs were only about 25 years old, and though they had cable they did not get cartoon network. Picture quality is just as bad as you imagine.
There were paper cups by the sink, they were not wrapped in anything, and I was scared to death to touch them. No idea how long they had been there, and there was no way to tell if they had been used. Seriously though, you might get murdered here. They stated that Kayak made the error. Also, this may seem silly to some but it is important to me, they only provided a "conditioning shampoo", rather than a shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo was NOT conditioning and made my hair terribly knotty and stringy. They should not offer smoking rooms, I am a smoker but it was gross smelling. It was the only room available.
It stunk so bad!! Great location for an multi-night stay to visit my home town. You can walk to downtown and waterfront restaurants. Hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. Large room with all the necessities - coffee maker, micro and refrig. Coffee available in the lobby along with homemade cookies! Thin walls - you can hear adjoining room noise a little too well.

Fridge, TV, beds were comfy. My family had a wonderful stay! The breakfast far exceeded my expectations, and helped start our days vacation. The staff was available, and helpful. Location within walking distance of general stores was fantastic! The room itself was a bit small and felt cramped at times.. They were heavy, loud, and I can't imagine staying in the room next to it and getting any sleep.
We are just a few blocks away from thepicturesque waterfront of downtown Poulsbo. All the 83 private unitsare spacious and comfortable with cable TV featuring Showtime, complimentary high speed internet, business center in lobby, and complimentary breakfast buffet. We've stayed here a few times. The rooms are large, comfortable and usually clean. The decor is very warm and cozy. Great location to the waterfront. I would stay again. This time our room and our friends room had lots of ants. We did notify the front desk. They were offered a room discount, we were not because we booked through Expedia.

The man at the front desk had a woman come into the motel looking for him and yelling at him. It was just a horrible experience and we almost left to find another hotel but it was previously booked. Avoid this place if you can. Run down and rough bunch staying there. Expensive for the quality of room.
While I was not offered drugs, the smell of marijuana was shadowed by the noise from the people above. This hotel has facilities measuring square feet square meters , including a conference center. Staff is friendly, breakfast is awesome, pretty much everything is good here. Very inconvenient.
Was not happy with this. It was great for a 2 night stay with a 2 and 3 year old- clean and kid friendly, all cords were tied back and out of the way, thank goodness! The noise! If you've got enough money to spend, they'll let you party until am! I wish all guests would be treated fairly, i know if my kids kept others from sleeping, it wouldn't have been tolerated.
I liked that when my girlfriend had left her sex toy the person on duty was professional and called to notify me and ask if I could return for it or for an address to mail it to. Of course I returned for it I wasn't able to get to know the maid on a more personal level. I was inclined to tip her for prompt and competent service. The rooms was a bit outdated and there were a few little things like the toilet leaked around the base despite several layers of caulk to keep it contained.

Microwave was very dirty - would not use. Our room looked out to a heavily wooded area. I'm glad we were not on the highway side. Our room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was a sticky food mess on the dark coffee table, which I found on accident. There was a soap wrapper floating around the bathroom from the previous occupants.
