We have a large family and whenever we are planning a get together we always choose a Chateau because they can easily accommodate large groups. And did I mention the food? We had a nice big table and plenty of room. We were even allowed to bring our own cake to celebrate. Great value for classic Italian American dishes.

Frozen raviolis, boxed mash potatoes and cold bread.. Rhode island calamari soggy not spicy but sour from all the pickles! Took quite a lot of time to bring food out which was frozen and boxed and had to ask for bread to be served which was cold.. Especially paying that amount for boxed and frozen food. Our waitress was absolutely horrible.
She would walk away from us before everyone giving an answer if we wanted another drink or anything else. She never once asked us how anything was. Instead, she seemed more annoyed at everything. Service was grate , and the food was good.

We have been there , just the two of us and then with groups and it went well. The bar is also a good place to sit and meet people. My family and I were celebrating my son's 25th anniversary impromptu and I chose the Chateau especially because of the gluten free menu as I have Celiac's. Everyone enjoyed the meal and it was nice to be able to have Chicken Parm with pasta again.
Had another great experience at The Chateau in Norwood! The service was great, the food was very good and the venue was perfect for dinner with a group of old friends! Reserved a table on Open Table for 14 for a family occasion. We were well-situated, promptly served, and the food was all well-prepared and delicious. Server was personable and attentive. Excellent dessert choices capped a nice luncheon. First time here and it was excellent! Large portions of very well prepared "basic" Italian - pasta, sausage, meatballs, lasagne, etc.
Nothing fancy but extremely well prepared. About the best restaurant lasagna I've had, great sauce "gravy" , and the calamari appetizer was as tender and fresh as can be. Really a bargain IMO. We were staying next door at the Hampton Inn, and asked at the front desk how Chateau was, and she said "ok but there are 2 other Italian restaurants with higher ratings".
And we checked and she was correct, but those were quite a bit more expensive and much dressier, etc. Kind of surprising not to send your customers next door and support a good place, but there's a lot that goes into those sorts of recommendations.
We enjoyed our meals, great service, nice view of the golf course and driving range, a good experience. The bread is always fresh and delicious to start. My favorites are the eggplant parmigiana, Italian trio and the Greek salad.

Love the pasta sauce! Have eaten here before for lunch. Had dinner this time. Good food and good selection, reasonably priced, comfortable booths and good, prompt, friendly service. Feels more like a family type restaurant. Nobody there to impress others, just good food and good value. Would recommend if that's what you are looking for.
Even though we went there, instead of checking us in they cancelled the reservation. The food came out cold and over cooked. I've been to the Chateau many times. The food is good and reasonably priced. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Chateau Norwood has been our go-to restaurant for many years. They have a large menu that helps make sure there is something on their menu for everyone.
Service is friendly and professional. Great place to bring whole family and kids of all ages. Had the haddock was delicious but came out warm, not hot. We were totally famished and Italian food sounded like a great idea. Our waitress was friendly and polite. I got the trio - lasagna, We both ordered Veal Parmesan and I added the fresh linguine.
