We went up to Lake Zurich on Oct 24th to celebrate a birthday and on our way home to Schaumburg my daughters car broke a sway bar link at 9pm. We decided not to drive it home and left it in Lake Zurich. Sunday morning 8am I was on the phone with your man Kevin and told him my situation.
He told me that it was driveable so I brought it there and he said he would have an answer about the repair in about a half hour so my wife and I went to have breakfast as we waited and 20 minutes later he called and said that because the parts dealers weren't open that early he said it would take about 2 hours to get the parts and do the repair. I told him I was going back to Schaumburg 20 miles away and be back later in the day.
We had just finished breakfast and was 3 miles away from your shop when he called back and said the parts came earlier than he expected and the car would be ready in 15 minutes.

He saved me so much time and mileage that I couldn't thank him enough. Excellent customer service. Les was my service manager and he made it a much better experience compared to others. They have fixed two issues on my car in the last time two weeks. They were helpful, respectful of my time and respectful of my finances. I will recommend them to everyone I know! I had called earlier in the day to see if I might be able to bring my car in to have someone look at my tires, the man who answered was very helpful and said I could come by anytime.
I went there to find out if an indentation in my tire was normal or if I may need new tires. I was happily greeted by an employee who opened the door for me, which when carrying a baby is greatly appreciated. The gentleman who helped me got a technician to immediately look at it and verified that it was normal and nothing to worry about. This was a huge relief and great news!
They easily could have lied to me and told me that I needed a new one, but they were honest and because of that they will have our business next time we do need tires. I came in at 5: The shop stayed open late in order to complete the job since I didn't have a ride home.

They were calling me for that, but neglected to ask me about the oil until I went to pay the bill. Does Firestone treat all senior citizens with disabilities like that? Came in with my tail light out and it was repair immediately. Very friendly to my grandchild while waiting.

Even though this was my first visit to their location, they made me feel like family. Great place. It would be nice to get in as soon as your appt starts instead of having to wait. My last visit to Firestone was disappointing. I had dropped my car off on a Wednesday and didn't get it back until Friday after many phone calls.
When I dropped my car off I knew that they wouldn't get to it until the end of the day. When 6: I called mid-day on Thursday and they still hadn't looked at it.

Finally, Friday morning I called and I was told the work that needed to be done could not be completed by Firestone. I would need to take my car to the dealer. They only work the was done on my car was a light bulb replacement!

Firestone needs serious training in customer service and being diligent about keeping their customers informed on the status of their cars and repairs. If there are types of work that can't be completed, you should be told ahead of time and given the option to have them look at the car or not. I have never been disappointed in the service I have received at this location. I had a repair done on my car, then redone, by this location, and it was not right either time.
It was returned to me with the check engine light still on after I had rented a car on two separate occasions and given this shop three days to get it right. I would not trust them with any vehicle for an engine repair in the future and will not even go back to this location for warranty work on my tires. Also, a technician tried to tell me a "suggested" repair was required for my car.
They really listened to my problem and did everything possible to fix my car. I highly recommend them. You won't be sorry. Since there has been a change in management, the service has fallen off.

This time scheduled for alignment and flat repair. Longtime customer no longer and tire had to be repaired today. Firestone lack of service is beyond unacceptable. Made appointment for 2 on Sunday on Saturday at 8: Twice Firestone has had my car all day and not done scheduled work.
Went in for an oil change and got my car back 4 hours later. So far so good! Each time I have used Lake Zurich Firestone the service I have received has been as requested and as explained.
