It feels smooth and heavy in the hand, the fine threading will ensure that the lid will never randomly pop off, and the swirl of colors is lovely. The blues, greens and violets on the surface complement the copper colored lid edge and pawprints on top. Our girl weighed a bit less than 20 pounds, and the medium size has ample room for her ashes and even her plaster pawprint.
If you are looking at these, please accept my condolences on your loss. I don't often review products on Amazon. But when this small, beautiful urn arrived in the mail today I knew I had to say something about it. The photos do not do it proper justice, the colors are unique and vibrant. It's solid brass and has a very nice weight to it, it does not feel cheap. Our precious boy kitty was about 8lbs when he passed over the rainbow bridge and this small urn is fits his ashes in a bag perfectly and even left room for his very favorite albeit ratty pompom toy to be in there with him.
I'd highly recommend this urn, it feels really good for us to have something so beautiful as his final resting place in our home. This urn fit her ashes with room to spare. The company shipped this product beautifully packaged with multiple layers of protection including foam, bubble wrap and also wrapped in a nice wiping cloth to protect agaisnt fingerprints.
When it arrived I immediately showed it to my husband and I was so happy to see how gorgeous and appropriate it was as a final resting place for my little girl. He loved it so much he requested another one different finish, of course be ordered for our 17 year old mixed breed when his time comes. His ashes were returned in a plastic bag in a tin box, I just placed the bag into the urn. There is plenty of room inside for more items, and I probably could have purchased the smaller option however this size looks nice and I like the way it feels in my hands. It is heavy and solid.
The outside colors are beautiful. I chose this urn because I wanted to have it on display on my living room, and this colored beauty doesn't seem as sad as the others. I enjoy looking at it in the sunlight.
This is gorgeous, it's iridescent colors and the shiny paw prints look great. I got this for my little girl Dixie who just passed, she was 20 pounds and this fit her ashes and could easily fit her collar and any other little do-dads you might want to place with your pet. The weight is nice, it's solid brass, not raku pottery which I thought when I first saw the picture.
Just like the other reviews, it was a little difficult to thread on the lid, but after a little fidgeting it went on just fine. We own two of these and they are very nice, sturdy, and unique.
