Baseline warranties included in the cost start at one-year part replacement and 45 day free shipping. The company says it can professionally overclock systems up to 5. The company ships internationally, and boasts its "wooden crate and instafoam shipping protection," which presumably helps prevent any damage during shipping.
Buyback prices are the part's current market value, as determined by Origin based on a combination of data sources. If you're planning on upgrading your PC at all in the future which you should be , the upgrade service definitely seems worth the money. Origin's online build process was one of the best I experienced. You can customize the internals of tower builds as in, whether you want a standard, inverted, or rotated motherboard positioning , and part selection is straightforward for both towers and small form-factor systems.
Like Origin PC, Falcon Northwest is one of the more expensive options on the market, but is known for its unique, custom cases. The company uses automotive-quality paint finishes in everything from basic solid, metallic, and pearl color schemes to complex color-shifting hues and custom graphics and airbrushing.
Custom artwork, depending on the complexity, will raise that price even more. Falcon offers lifetime tech support, 9am-6pm Pacific Time, seven days a week. With the exclusion of custom paintwork, which is non-refundable once painting has begun, Falcon offers a day money back guarantee.
Like Origin PC, systems are subjected to a three-day burn-in. Customers are also provided with a convenient binder of system documentation, as well as "ResuceDrive" — a USB stick that can reset your system to a factory fresh state. The Falcon "Configurator" is a bit clunkier than Origin's system, but still overall a good customization experience.
The biggest issue is that you have to click into each part in order to see price differences, making it slightly more difficult to compare parts at a glance. Every Xidax computer is hand-built by a single system builder. The other main selling point for Xidax systems is the company's lifetime warranty on parts and labor for desktop systems. Two years for laptops. Defective parts are repaired when possible or replaced with a new, used, refurbished, recertified, or comparable part.
Xidax's return policy is a bit wonkier than most. All sales are final and as-is, with returns only at the exclusive discretion of Xidax. The Xidax website lists several technicians on staff, so it's presumably they offer in-house tech support.
Long hours, decent pay, no work life balance if you want a paycheck, discount on cell service, rarely a break, long hours, and no work life balance. April 26, I recently bought a set of your new irons, when Joseph asked me how my ball went when I hit the ball. Everybody at the store was nice. A link has directed you to this review. However, the website doesn't have any mention of the company's actual tech support hours. Xidax also offers a number of financing options. Not good. Xidax's custom build UI is better than most, making it straightforward to compare prices and pick components. My only real complaint is that the menu scrolls back to the top every time you select a new component section, making it possible to lose your place and maybe forget to pick a component. The company's signature desktop systems come with a three year standard warranty, covering three years labor and one year parts.
Four- and five-year extended warranties are also mentioned on the company's warranty info page, but they don't seem to be listed as options at the time of purchase, so you will likely have to contact the company in order to buy in. Warranties extend only to the original purchaser, and are only effective on systems purchased and operated in the United States. It almost overwhelms you with component choice, yet provides little info about each part on the decisionmaking page, save for the part name and price.
If you don't know what you're looking for, I could see easily getting lost in the weeds. Maingear lists customer service as its top priority. Labor and phone support are free for the lifetime of the system. The warranty employs a combination of virtual on-site, remote diagnostic software, telephone support, and if necessary, on-site repair via a third-party service.
Tech support hours are Mon — Fri, Issues within the first 30 days are additionally covered by free two-way shipping, while Maingear will cover one-way shipping after that. As for the computers themselves, Maingear says it hand-builds every system with a focus on optimal wiring for maximum airflow. Systems come with the latest hardware drivers installed and never any bloatware , and everything is subjected to a hour stress test.
Maingear's approach seems mostly focused on providing lots of pre-configured options at a variety of price points. You can still customize those further, but based on the number of options, I imagine they're more interested in attracting customers looking for a build to suit their needs gaming, 3D modeling, post-production, etc rather than someone looking to hand-pick their parts.
In addition to standard laptops and tower cases, CyberpowerPC offers a number of exclusive case options, such as the futuristic-looking Trinity and the briefcase-shaped Battlebox. Tech support is available Mon-Fri 6: Desktop systems comes with a three year limited warranty covering three years labor one year parts. That plan can be upgraded:. Loved the job and the people I worked with. Also, not enough opportunity for advancement. Great coworkers and management. I have been working for Custom since May and I love it so far.
I have great coworkers, a great manager, and overall, great customers. The pay is pretty good, I just wish they would leave the pay structure alone. My only complaint is that we never have anything in stock. Yes, we can direct fulfill devices, but most of our customers do not want to wait the extra week or so to receive it.
Everyone I have met from the company is super nice and helpful. Best job so far. This is for a single person. All the way around, this job is great. This job is fantastic for someone that is single and doesn't mind living at work. The culture is very driven. Learned a lot from the management group. Great company with great people.
In the interest of full disclosure, I've been with the company a few years now. A lot of the red I've read seem like they're from people who either haven't been with the company long or quit after a short amount of time. In my experience with this company, I've seen a lot of reps come and go. The ones who haven't stayed usually didn't really understand what the job was when they took it.
They tell every nee hire about their culture and DNA. I tell people, culture is what we do; DNA is who we are. Custom Communications expects their employees to have gratitude not entitled or a chronic complainer , compassion for customers and each other , and faith that drives you to succeed. In return, they offer leadership, frequent coaching and daily inspiration. Finally, this is a sales-driven company.
If you're looking for a job that allows you to just sit back and clerk deals, try McDonald's or Wal-Mart. They're always hiring. But if you're looking for a career in sales, then give Custom Communications a chance. Great enviornment. Louis, MO — September 18, A typical day at work was data entry, filing, scanning, etc. I am not pleased with upper management. I think they don't know how to manage appropriately.
Energetic, high demanding, competitive. Custom communications is a great and caring workplace, The owners were very understanding and care very much about the employees. I have nothing horrible to say about a company that has helped me grow and evolved me into a better person and district manager. I would like to add that they are very competitive which i like and the environment is fun.
Applicant beware Let me start by saying this review is long. I never leave reviews for anything, but I want to stop someone from making a terrible mistake.
I worked for this company for 5 months and it is definitely not what it seems. They preach faith, compassion, gratitude, lead, coach, and inspire as the culture and DNA but they don't actually live by it. During that time I was over worked and under paid, besides the overtime.
This organization is not BBB accredited. Woodworking in Columbus, GA. See BBB rating, reviews, complaints, & more. I purchased a bed from them on September 23rd and paid $59 for a delayed delivery date of November 3rd. This is the mattress fundraiser. Custom Fundraising Solutions of NEPA won't return phone calls.
I wasn't getting paid on any store bonuses nor could I make commission on my own sales since I had to train and run store operations. Then randomly I get promoted to SM but it had nothing to do with my hard work, but because the company didn't want to keep paying me overtime.
No one told me I was promoted the only reason I found out was because I happened to look at my pay rate. There is no "congratulations" for work you do. I ended up in the hospital from over working myself and no one cared yet they preach such culture and DNA. My location was always slow but we still put up numbers. The slowest month traffic wise was actually our best when compared to the other 4 months of the store being open, but no one cared.
I even asked for development from upper management so I could better myself as a leader and no tried to help, but from what I was told they would always talk about how they doubted me. The commission structure is terrible and there's no ramp up for new hires. You won't get your first paycheck for a month since they pay in arrears, so have money saved up. The company waste money on having your DM watch you on camera instead of paying you for your work. Inventory levels are horrible.
At my location my reps lost so many sales because we didn't have what they wanted in stock. I had to keep an upbeat attitude and remind them that we can always ship to the customer, but that can only work so many times and try telling a family moving multiple lines over from another carrier they have to wait There is no variety when it comes to accessories; there's literally different cases in different colors for the iPhones, cases for the S8, and everything else cases. Trying to build an accessory bundle for a customer with multiple cases doesn't leave much room for creativity.
It took my location 4 months to get prepaid phones in our inventory and 4 months to get the iPad 5th gen in inventory. There's definitely more way more but I feel this review is already long. Believe The Ratings. Any reviews rated 2 stars and under about this company Poor pay, poor commission and bonus structure, no work-life balance, poor leadership, slow locations, lack of consistent inventory, no security for thefts and robberies, no pto, no growth for employees, no raises, high expectations for slow locations, and hiring of unfitting employees.
