Building 14 is in the middle so its not far from anything and is quiet. Be aware that this resort honors request based on availability even though you made reservations ahead of time. I drank lots of champagne and my husband drank Jack Daniels and coke for some reason only the Quetzal lobby bar had this whiskey. But there are shots and hard liquors of every sort along with beer and wine. Yes cocktails and liquor are included. The only time you have to pay for alcohol is if you want a special bottle of wine at dinner. Yes they have all kinds of alcohol and cocktails. They will make you anything you want.

However they do not have rose tequilla. We are not aware of any smoking ban with this property. Typically one can smoke in open air areas. Look for spots with ash trays. Inside lobbies, bars there are tables assigned as smoking or non-smoking. I don't believe you can smoke in the dining areas. You can smoke on the beach, and by the pool. I am a smoker, and have recently switched to e-cigarettes, which I saw many people smoking everywhere.

I also saw others smoking regular cigarettes near the pools and on the grounds. It did not seem to offend anyone, you also have a small balcony attached to your room where you could smoke. Yes, you can smoke in the lobby and on the property except in restaurants. They have ashtrays every where. I do not think you can smoke in the rooms, but the patio or balcony is fine. I am a smoker and there are ashtray large sand filled containers everywhere. There are non smoking areas in the lobby bar and auditorium and also the rooms are nonsmoking but can smoke on the balconies.
