Bathroom was well equipped with a good shower. Room was surprisingly quiet considering the location so obviously well insulated. Spa facilities were wonderful with a lovely pool, steam room and sauna. The swimming pool was warm, liked the sauna and hot tub. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice for breakfast. The room was comfortable and had what we needed. Spacious bar and restaurant area. We overlooked the car park at the back of the hotel which faced the zoo, as we did not look out of the window, we were not concerned about this. The location is wonderfull.
SPA facilities are ok and start to work early. Great location in the city, and as we travelled by train - we arrived at the Balmoral as we stepped off the train.
