Happy with it so far ….
We drove the CX-9, it was my first choice, the 3rd row was smaller than the Highlander. The Captains chairs make ALL the difference in my opinion. Actually, I found bench works out better for me. It allows car set to be install in center while still accessible to 3rd row. As for spacing, I took my infant seat, base, stroller for all the test drives I did. CX-9 fit the combination better. Highlander is definitely on the smaller side of this midsize 3 row cross over segments tho.
If you're looking for a new SUV or crossover to finish out winter or get ready for spring, you're in the right spot. Here we have 12 of the best. Now that we've passed the holiday season, you would expect all the good car deals would disappear with the warm weather. However, there.
So much room for activities in that thing. I have owned 3 highlanders and I agree the 3rd row is a squeeze. Also with 3rd row up, not much cargo space. So the highlander is an occasional 7 seater - if you need a regular 7 seater, look elsewhere. They will have the best payment on Pilot and potentially Highlander.
Also Durango would be another one to test drive. The incentives and discounting on that vehicle are very heavy these days.
Will you have a kid in a car seat for the duration of your lease? If so, the Pathfinder and equivalent Infinit has a cool feature that I think is still unique to the segment.
