Everyone seemed to work well as a team and nothing was too much We booked an executive room with free breakfast. Just outside town so easy to get into Burnley. Hotel Had a old listed building.
So if you have mobility issues this might not be the place for you. Hotel was clean a Premier Inn Burnley Hotel. Very pleasant welcome from friendly staff. Hotel pretty clean but we did have a few dust webs hanging from the The pub was great, food and drinks great value. Hotel not so great hair dryer socket hanging from wall as was the bedside light.
Also kept awake from 3. Good food in the Pub next door. Would definitely stay again.
Rooms are modern and very Travelodge Blackburn M65 Hotel. Ferrari's Country House Hotel. Very good gym and small pool. We love Clitheroe, been coming to Dunsop Bridge to visit our friends on the trout farm in Dunsop Bridge for over 14 years. They have recently moved to Clitheroe Town. This is a lovely place to visit with lots to see. Lovely places to eat, pie ,peas and gravy from Swales a must!!
A well kept secret.
Lots of rolling hills with beautifully scattered cottages and eat8ng venues. Friendly welcoming people too with lots of stories to tell about the areas' history. Smashing beer at their local brewery. Our trip to Chatburn near Clitheroe was for a family funeral. So not a fun occasion,however Waddow Hall was a very pleasant surprise. A warm welcome greeted us plus an upgrade to a standard room. The bedroom was good although the small bathroom was not conventional but quite addiquate with plenty of hot water.
We felt very welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfast was outstanding. An excellent venue set in its own grounds overlooking the river and Clitheroe castle.
