The portions at Italianni's are absurdly large. They make no sense. Unfortunately, the taste makes no sense either. The waiter told my wife that the caprese was small. It would have fed two. Lasagna was tasteless but could have fed the rest of the table. Two of our party shared a chicken parmesan and took home more than they ate. Management would do well to cut the portions at least in half and use the savings to hire a competent chef. The service was very good for a suburban mass market restaurant.
We have driven past this restaurant many times and finally tried it out tonight. Food was delicious! We tried the tomato soup and lobster bisque, super flavorful and rich. Split the itallianos trios and it was delicious! Huge portions. Our server Shannon was wonderful. Can't wait to come again!
