Overall the food is ok but most things are frozen or food company products. The worst experience I had was when I came in and ordered baked cod. When I recieved it was clearly finished in a microwave. I returned the meal promptly. The salad bar is probably the highlight for food. The one trip is not worth the price due to the small plate but the all you can eat is a good deal. The salad bar has a variety of salad mixes, accompaniments , and other salads. I am an occasional customer but I also know what to expect and what I am paying for.. Extensive beer selection and a decent place to hang out and party.
NOT a good place to eat though. All restaurant-supply-type, frozen food, very basic, weak, mediocre at best. The most horrible food I have had in a long time. Waitress did not clear our table or come back to check on if our food was ok. The only good thing to say was they a had a godd salad bar. This is my go to restaurant in Dowagiac, I'm a college student that needs good food at a good price that isn't a far drive. They have a wide variety of food options but I always get the burger. I did get the chicken pasta once and I enjoyed it a lot, I even got to take a good portion home for later!

It was dry and hard. My wife ordered a olive burger med well. Well it came with olive sauce on it. It was rare in the middle and oozing out onto the plate. Bread was soaked from it and starting to fall apart. Told the waitress and she apologized for the soup and when told about the rare burger offered to redo it. We paid and left the coupon. We are not going back- ever, never!! Something has changed here. I don't recognize any of the employees.
It was not busy at 4pm. I cannot recommend this place. It is a long way from being the same as Mr T's in Lawton. It was a nice place. Service was a little slow.

It was family dinning. And one of the customers had a small child that was crying thru our whole meal. So needless to say that was very disturbing. Food was good tho. Visited this restaurant this past weekend, a very large food menu with lots of options to pick from. They also have a salad bar with a lot of different food option on it.

The restaurant also had a very large beer and specialty drinks menu. I dined here with 7 other people at the time, and all of the food and drinks came in a timely manner with excellent service. My wife, myself, and a few friends when there for the all you can eat fish on Friday. Zekes was not busy and we got right in! The drink order was slow. Fish was just ok. Some of our group said their fish was poor. The table next to us had ordered ribs and the couldn't eat them.
There must be a new cook. Our baked potatoes were black inside and old. It isn't like it used to be! I'm not sure if I will be back again. Good salad bar, large selection of beers but slow service and very salty walleye.
Decent spot for family's to eat. Best restaurant Ranch dressing! Seriously this place is a great taste of middle America. Great service, good food, and fun atmosphere makes for an excellent lunch or dinner meal.

My husband and I wandered in here while on vacation in the area, and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. The place is old, the food is not good, wait staff didn't care for you, they just did the job. We order some chef special salad which was just iceberg lettuce with ham and American cheese on the top served with "breadstick", which was hard as a wooden stick.
We order a Summer Shandy, which was bitter and sour at the same time. Waitress didn't bother us to ask how was our food or drinks are. Not coming back for sure. Ordered the prime rib sandwich was the worst ive ever had was like leather asked for med rare more rare and was served very well done. Tasted like was precooked frozen that was heated. By far worst food around service was good salad bar was good we also had bluegill basket and it was over cooked and dry and defiantly not fresh. All around bad experience and will not return. Such a shame used to be favorite place when I grew up.
Totally not worth the money spent. Too big of menu and everything on it something I could have probably made better at home. The only redeeming factor is they have a very long list of imported beers to sample, otherwise I'd never waste my time. After a long day in the sun and an unplanned 4 hour nap afterwards, I woke up starving and with no motivation to cook.
