Orders get misheard all the time plus customers forget what they did order and insist it's wrong, submitting it in writing online, text, etc directly into the system should be much more reliable. Hey, I'll trade cheap pizza for a fucking dentist any day. One of the hardest things to get in the US if yo are poor, but not poor enough is dental care. I know so many guys in their 20's and 30's that haven't been to a dentist in 5, 10, 15 years. If you have a medical condition, there are ways to get help, but not with dental. I have suffered through so many toothaches in my life. I have resorted to buying fish antibiotics from a pet store - so have a lot of people. I love you for this, you've saved me so much money I order a lot of pizza to try to fill the empty spot in my heart.

Drivers don't typically get a percentage based tip unless its a big order. Unsure if this is true, but does the tip only go to the driver? Or is it a store by store sort of basis. I feel the driver deserves some tip, but not all. Like, you know, the people who made the pizza. Maybe they are one and the same? If I'm not already on a delivery, I'm making food.
So it turns out that a lot of the food I make, is my next delivery. But after becoming a driver, I realized its quite a bit of wear and tear on my car which costs me usually more than i make in tips. So most if not all of my tips go right back into maintaining my vehicle. I always base my tip off how much my bill is, but I use a set minimum so they don't get screwed if I don't order much. That's a good system, at a certain price point it does actually become more work for a more expensive meal.

There are never any GF discounts and I saw people just load up on those things. They're a bit pricey! I might email them and tell them they need to do that again. Sometimes I just want a cheap, greasy pizza, dammit!!! They might be contaminated while in the kitchen if you're super allergic but they are made gluten free. I have a question about tipping etiquette. In particular, Papa Johns' drivers who won't come to my door. This is NYC - Brooklyn. A nice neighborhood - the streets are never busy, although street parking is not always available.
I only ever get complaints from the kids who deliver from Papa Johns. They call my phone as soon as they arrive and say "i'm here, come down. There is an elevator to my 3rd floor, so it's not like a big physical 6th floor walkup. I started telling them, "If you want a tip, you should come to my door" I'm a good tipper. It's not like i'm a guy watching a baby and kids If I wanted to be bothered to slip on shoes or something, I wouldn't have ordered delivery! It serves me right to be ordering from Papa Johns when there are so many other great restaurants who deliver and never give me shit.
